The influence of infected oocyst of eimeria tenella on meat quality of broilers

Abstract :

The aim of the experiment was to show the influence of oocyst of Eimiria tenella infection on meat quality of broilers. A total of 40 broilers which have been adapted as long as 29 days were used as experimental animals and they were divided into four groups. The animals were infected by oocyst of Eimiria tenella such as : P0 (control), P1 (infected by 20.000 of oocyst of Eimiria tenella), P2 (infected by 40.000 of oocyst of Eimeria tenella) and P3 (infected by 80.000 of oocyst of Eimeria tenella). The results showed that the meat quality of broilers were not significantly different (p > 0,05). It can be concluded that the meat quality of broilers might not be influenced by infection of oocyst of Eimeria tenella.
