Abstract :

The aim of this research was to know the effect of semen washing with Bracket and Oliphan’t (BO) medium at skim milk and egg yolk diluent to motility and viability of ram sperm. Semen of ram divided become four groups. P1 as treatment with washing and added skim milk diluent, P2 as treatment with washing and added skim milk combination with egg yolk, P3 as treatment without washing and added skim milk diluent and P4 as treatment without washing and added skim milk combination egg yolk. The data were analyzed by Anova Test. The result of motility and viability percentage of sperm there was difference but by Anova Test showed that not significant difference (P>0,05) between forth treatment. The conclusion of this research was treatment with washing and added milk combination with egg yolk can increasing motility and viability of sperm.
