Abstract :
The aim of this research was to prove efficacy of Rat Bone Marrow MesenchymalStem Cell (RMB-MSC) could reduce the number of Hofbauer cells of mice induced bycarbon black. This research was a experimental laboratory, with six groups of treatmentand eight times repetitions using female mice (Rattus norvegicus). The study started byfertilization of female mice following by induction with carbon black doses 532 mg/m3.In treatment’s group P1.3 and P2.3 treated with RBM-MSC doses 1x106 cells/ 0,1 mlintravenously. Following steps were observation and examination of total Hofbauer cellfrom mice placenta. The results of carbon black induction on 6-11 and 6-17 days of gestation showeddifferent the number of Hofbauer cell between control groups (P1.2 and P2.2) and treatmentgroups ( P1.1 and P2.1). Mean while in comparation between treated group with inductioncarbon black (P1.1 and P2.1) with treated group with RBM-MSC following induction ofcarbon black (P1.3 and P2.3) did not show significant difference. In summary, RBMMSCtreatment in mice on 6-11 and 6-17 day of gestation , have not supress the numberof hofbauer cell because of short time for RBM-MSC to perform optimal.
