Abstract :
Abstract The study of the education of children of fishermen, especially the children of fishermen has not been done in Indonesia. Children of fishermen are generally invited to go to sea. Therefore, the researchers are interested in more depth about the education of children of fishermen. Formulation of research problems are how the pattern of activity of fishermen child's education at elementary school level socio-cultural environment and how the education of children of fishermen activity patterns in KH. Romly Tamim Islamic elementary schools. The purpose of this research describes the activity patterns of children of fishermen in the socio-cultural environment and Islamic elementary schools. This research used ethnographic methods. The research location was in Kejawan Lor and KH. Romly Tamim Islamic elementary schools, Kenjeran Village, District of Bulak, Surabaya. The data collection is done by observation and in-depth interviews with eight informants interview guides to the children of fishermen, 11 informants parents (father and mother), 4 teachers Islamic elementary schools. The qualitative data obtained in the analysis using The Gender Maritime Ideology Concept, Theory of Teaching and Learning Culture. The results showed that the activity patterns of children of fishermen at elementary school level socio-cultural environment in the form of reading Quran every day from Monday to Friday and study guidance on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. They were not socialized family (father and mother) about the fishing activities. Children of fishermen also was not interested in helping father and mother activities related of fishermen. Regeneration of fishermen less socialized. The pattern of educational activities of children of fishermen in intra-curricular Islamic elementary schools from Monday to Saturday and extra-curricular Saturday after school. Children of fishermen elementary level is not invited to go to sea for fishing socialization process. Though the diachronic sons of fishermen schools in Islamic elementary schools in 1992 was invited to sail with his father, whereas the daughter was taught to process marine products. Keywords: Activity patterns, the education, children of fishermen Abstrak Studi tentang pendidikan anak nelayan, khususnya anak nelayan pantai belum banyak dilakukan di Indonesia. Anak nelayan umumnya diajak melaut. Untuk itu peneliti tertarik mengkaji lebih mendalam tentang pendidikan anak nelayan pantai. Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah bagaimana pola aktivitas pendidikan anak nelayan tingkat SD/MI di lingkungan sosial-budaya masyarakat dan bagaimana pola aktivitas pendidikan anak nelayan di MI KH. Romly Tamim. Tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan pola aktivitas anak nelayan di lingkungan sosial-budaya dan MI. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode etnografi. Lokasi penelitian di Kejawan Lor dan MI KH. Romly Tamim, Kelurahan Kenjeran, Kecamatan Bulak, Kota Surabaya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi dan wawancara mendalam dengan pedoman wawancara kepada 8 informan anak nelayan, 11 informan orang tua (bapak dan ibu), 4 orang guru MI. Data kualitatif yang diperoleh di analisis dengan menggunakan Konsep Ideologi Jender Maritim, Teori Teaching dan Learning Culture. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pola aktivitas anak nelayan tingkat SD di lingkungan sosial-budaya berupa mengaji setiap hari dari hari Senin-Jumat dan bimbingan belajar pada hari Senin, Selasa, Rabu, Jum’at dan Minggu. Mereka tidak disosialisasi keluarga (bapak dan ibu) tentang aktivitas nelayan. Anak nelayan juga tidak tertarik membantu aktivitas bapak dan ibunya terkait kenelayanan. Regenerasi nelayan kurang disosialisasikan. Pola aktivitas pendidikan anak nelayan di MI intrakulikuler dari hari Senin-Sabtu dan ekstrakulikuler hari Sabtu sesudah sekolah. Anak-anak nelayan pantai tingkat SD ini tidak diajak melaut untuk proses sosialisasi melaut. Padahal secara diakronik anak laki-laki nelayan pantai yang sekolah di MI pada tahun 1992 masih diajak melaut ayahnya dan anak perempuannya diajari mengolah hasil laut.
