Abstract :

HIV-AIDS ( Human Immunodeficiency Virus ) is a virus that attacks the human immune system. HIV-AIDS can be infect anyone regardless of age,gender,race/ethnicity,social status , and occupation including members of the military. CST program ( Care Support and Treatment ) is a program to provide care of PLWHA with support and treatment. Rumkital Dr.Ramelan Surabaya is one of the participating hospitals run CST program for PLWHA patients. This study was aimed to analyze factors related to behavior of PLWHA with the CST program based on Theory of Planned Behavior at Poly VCT Rumkital Dr. Ramelan in February 2014. Design used in this study was cross-sectional design. The independent  variables are attitude, subjective norm, PBC, and intentions. The dependent variable is a behavior of PLWHA in CST program at Rumkital Dr. Ramelan. Total sample was 26 respondetnts, taken according inclusion criteria by using purposiv sampling techniques. Data were then analyzed using Spearman 's rho statistical test with level of significance of ≤ 0.01. Results showed that that attitude (p=1.00 ),subjective norms (p=0.00),PBC (p=0.00), and intention (0.00). It can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between subjective norm, PBC, and intentions with behavior of PLWHA in CST program at Rumkital Dr. Ramelan in February 2014. And the attitude has corelation with the behavior of PLWHA in CST Program. . For further research is expected to conduct research on other factors related to the behavior of PLWHA patients in the CST program.
