Abstract :
Short stature is still common problems in our country. The use of growth hormone therapy for GHD in Indonesia still limited concerning economical issue. 4 cases of short stature caused by GHD with the mean z score of height for age of -3.67 SD after getting GH therapy for 5-30 months, obtained a mean increase in height of 10.5 cm with the growth rates of 5.63 mm per month and the mean z score of -3.30 SD (mean gain: 0.54 SD). The average costs required for GH therapy for 5-30 months is Rp. 66,465,000. To add a 1 cm height required cost of Rp. 6.23 million or equal with $ 724.4 US.
