Abstract :
To enhance the enthusiasm of the authors in submitting their articles to be published in Folia MedicaIndonesiana, the Medical Research Unit of Airlangga University School of Medicine, a unit whose duty is toendorse medical research in this medical school, will perform appraisal to all scientific articles that havebeen published in Folia Medica Indonesiana. The appraisal will be carried out once a year, started to thearticles published from 1997 to 1998. The winner is qualified to receive award from The Dean of AirlanggaUniversity School of Medicine, and his/her name will be published in Folia Medica Indonesiana. We hopethat this award may encourage eagerness in writing and submitting articles to this medical journal.
