It caused by biological factor that go naturaly that influence the anatomical, biochemical and physiological changes. The natural change in this aspect falling risk contributes to falling on elderly. The objective of this study was to describe the falling prediction for elderly using Dynamic Gait Index (DGI). Method: The design used in this research was a descriptive study design. The population was 39 elderly, with sample of 26 elderly involved by means of purposive sampling, taken according to inclusion criteria. The variable was falling prediction. The data were colected using Dynamic Gait Index (DGI) assessment and then were analyzed in descriptive with table and narrative form. Result and Analysis: The result showed that elderly in Panti Werdha Hargodedali have a high risk of falls. Dynamic Gait Index (DGI) assessment showed that 18 from 26 respondents scored <19, means that 70% elderly in the aged care have a high risk of falls. Discussion and Recommendation: Based on abovementioned study taken about risk of falling with Dynamic Gait Index (DGI) assessment, 70% respondents in Panti Werdha Hargodedali have high risk of falls. Dynamic Gait Index (DGI) asses risk falls based on 8 walking styles in elderly. Assessment of the falling prediction should be included into one of a series of routine checks are carried out every three months, in addition to dynamic postural balance exercise should be done alternately with regular structured exercise as a form of elderly design prevention activities as well as one event falls in the elderly.
