Abstract :

  Grouperis oneof the primary fishthathave high economical value. One of the main problemsin the development of humpback grouperaquacultureis a disease causedby bacteriaof thegenusVibriosp. The use of antibiotics led to the emergence of strains of resistant bacteria tomultipletypes ofantibiotics, the residue isalsoharmful tohumansandthe environment. One solution that can be done is by vaccine injection. Constraint of oral vaccination is the destruction of the antigen in the digestive system that required a packaging material that will protect the long pass antigen in digestive system.One of the materials used to coat the antigen is alginate. This study aims to determine thehaematologicalparameters(blood glucose, haematocrite, haemoglobineandleukocyte) humpback grouper(Cromileptes altivelis) after administration ofmicroencapsulatedvaccineV.alginolyticus.The methods used were an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 6 replications.The treatment that is being used were giving microencapsulated vaccine V. alginolyticuswithdoses of 0mg/25g BW fish/day (control), 0.0125 mg/25g BW fish/day and 0.05 mg/25g BW fish/day orally in 7 days. Materials used in the study is the humpback grouper (Cromileptes altivelis) measuring 10-15 cm and weight 25 g by 90 tails, sea water, pellets, EDTA, aquadest, Vibrioalginolyticus Vaccine Microcapsulesand Turk's solution. Microcapsules vaccine V.alginolyticus with different doses did not gave significant differences on blood glucose levels, haematocrite and haemoglobine humpback grouper (C.altivelis), otherwise it give significant difference (p <0.05) for leukocyte number of  humpback grouper (C.altivelis), but still within the normal range.
