Abstract :
This research looked at the gender perspective as to why the strategies that do MARWOPNET can achieve success. The theory used in this study starts fromthe important role of women to be involved in the peace process , theory of diplomatic strategy 'track two', legitimacy and representation that shows theposition of strength MARWOPNET position as non-state actors, and three indicators of success that are tangible and accountability indicator. Theconclusion of this study is MARWOPNET can achieve success because using the right approach. With diplomacy strategy 'track two', involving women in theprocess of peace, and the views from the achievement of the following indicators: (1) an agreement or an agreement is reached between the partiesin conflict in Liberia Comprehensive Peace Agreement in 20 03; (2) MARWOPNET informal approach to the conflict can be a "stepping stone" thatencourage the implementation of a formal negotiation process; (3) there is support from regional governments and institutions; (4) and accountabilityindicators that show that MARWOPNET successfully meet public expectations have also represented to achieve the vision and mission of the internal.
