Abstract :
This research will unravel the conflict in Central Nigeria due to terrorist attacks by by a movement called Boko Haram. The author then attempts topresent an analysis of the factors behind the actions of the Boko Haram, including raising the issue of resource constraints, the inability of the stateadministration, the historical reasons of the Kanuri tribe who want to restore the glory of their past, as well as the involvement of international parties whocontribute in helping the development of the Boko Haram. An analysis of the factors behind the establishment of Boko Haram is a conceptualization of thestate and the power that brings the assumption of the existence of transnational movement, the concept of soft security measure, and theStructural Theory of Revolution. Then, in order to analyze the emergence of international support in the development of Boko Haram, the author uses thetheory of Relative deprivation theory, theory of Dissident Terrorism, and the concept of indigenous psychology.
