Refleksi 21 tahun afta dan tantangan commodity bust

Abstract :
ASEAN Free Trade Area (AFTA) gives few economic aspects, one of which is commodity bust phenomenon. Commodity bust is a devaluation of foreign exchange from primary commodities export that becomes defiance when the increasing of intra-ASEAN export practically addressed to decrease negative impacts from volatility. It resulted from many regional trade agreements in other regions. This phenomenon will be analyzed with approaching which lies on assumption that the more non-tariff taxes, it will be lessening intra-ASEAN trade that is resulted by AFTA mechanism. This shows that in order to create an advanced intra-ASEAN trading, this non-tariff taxes issue should be solved. It sum that diversification in order to reduce volatility will be hard to be embodied within intra-ASEAN export.
