Abstract :

The purpose of the recent research was to investigate the effect of some brands of the commercial feeds on the growth and color changes of Red Diamond Lou Han. The research employed the Complete Random Design with four treatments of Z (A), FH (B), A (C) and HF (D) feeds and accompanied by four replications of each consisting of five fish. The feeds were administered three times a day. The culture media was aerated and the water was replaced once on week base. To see the growth (weight gain), the fish were weighed once weekly and the color changes was observed weekly by making comparison of the treatments. An average increased weight in the course of the research was: Feed A. 0,1550 g; feed B.0,1846 g; feed C.0,1423 g and feed D. 0,1626 g. The results of ANOVA test indicated that there was no significant difference among these four treatments. Average color scales of the Lou Han at the end of the research through administration of several brands of commercial brand was: Feed A, scale 2; feed B, scale 1,75: feed C, scale 2,75 and feed D, scale 3,25. The results of Kruskal Wallis test and Z test showed that there was a significant difference between the feed D and feed A and B; however, had no significant difference from feed C. The feed a did not differ significantly from the feed B, but it had a significant difference from C and D.
