The influence of gel extract binahong leaf (anredera cordifolia (ten.) steenis) to observe macrophague cells and burn wound diameter degree ii in mice (mus musculus)

Abstract :

Binahong leaf is one of plant that has an antioxidant effect and antiinflamatory activity because it contains active compounds like Flavonoid and Saponins. The aim of this study was to examine the influence of extract gel binahong leaf toward macrophague cells and make burn wound healing process faster by observation from burn wound diameter degree II in mice. Burn wound were treatment with 10% as a (P2), 20% as a (P3) of extract gel binahong leaf compared by Bioplacenton as a (P1) and HPMC as a (P0). Everyday in 7 days treatment of burn wound diameter was recorded and then make preparation with HE staining at day 7. All the data of this study were analyzed by ANOVA and Duncan-Post Hoc Tests it showed that in day 7, P0 and P2 can’t decrease macrophague cell well with the mean in 4,15 and 3,40, it compared by P1 and P3 can decrease macrophague cell in mean 2,35 and 1,45, it also showed by percentage of diameter burn wound healing degree II in this sequence from P0, P1, P2, to P3 are 12,2%, 44,4%, 22,9%, 59,4%. The result of this study is extract gel binahong leaf with 20% concentration has had influence toward macrophague cells because it can decrease macrophague cells in proliferation phase and burn wound diameter degree II becomes smallest (p<0,05).
