Abstract :
This research aim to see public road child characteristic which in region of Surabaya. Hereinafter, given the the public road child characteristic hence will earn to be applied by policy which is seseuai to overcome the problem of public road child. With background to the number of public road children amounts in town of Surabaya, and problems of public road child concerning many matters especially nation the rising generation hence needing the existence of a serious handling. Responder in this research is officer On duty Social and public road child in Surabaya. Data obtained done open interview, data of sekunder result of research before all, and field observation. Of research which is known that public road child characteristic in Surabaya that is all this public road children go down to road;street with economic reason, do not forbear staying remain at home, arena dank go with the stream friend. Therefore need a[n special handling to handle the problem of adapted for public road child is characteristic of each public road child.
