Abstract :

The aimed of this study is to find out if there is a relationship between self efficacy with adjustment on the Taruna Akademi Angkatan Laut. This research was conducted at 226 Taruna which consist of levels II, III, IV, and each Corps. The sampling technique used was accidental. Questionnaire for this research using General Self Efficacy (GSE) was previously created by Matthias Jerusalem dan Ralf Schwarzer (1979) and translated into Bahasa Indonesia. Adjustment scale are developed by the author from theory of adjustment by Schneiders (1964). The results of the analysis show that the value of the correlation (r) between self efficacy and adjustment is 0,203 and significance value is 0,002. Results of the analysis of the data show that there is a significant positive relationship between self efficacy and adjustment on the Taruna Akademi Angkatan Laut. These results indicate that the presence factor of self efficacy have an important role in generating a good adjustment.
