Abstract :
The implementation of good corporate governance aimed to make corporate management going well without ignoring the interests of stakeholders. Assessment good corporate governance during this time only done on a corporate level, whereas in business units as the executor in the field have never conducted an assessment on the implementation of good corporate governance. This research was conducted to to describe the implementation of GCG that is already underway at Juanda international airport in Surabaya as a business unit of PT Angkasa Pura I has been theoretically relevant. This research uses theories of good corporate governance with a descriptive qualitative research methods and the technique of determination of the informant was purposive. Data obtained from observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The process of data analysis is done by grouping and combining the data obtained, and also set a series of connectedness between the data. While the validity of data is tested through the triangulation data sources so that the data presented is valid. The result showed that the principles of good corporate governance have been fulfilled by Juanda Airport through the application in the work environment. Of the principles that are executed there are three principles that stand out, namely, accountability, responsibility, and equality and fairness. While on the principle of transparency and the independence there needs to be improved through regulatory certainty to the implementation of good corporate governance can be optimized.
