Abstract :

The objectives of this study were to know the blood pressure pattern (include systolic, diastolic, mean arterial pressure (MAP), pulse) and level of ET-1, and NO in every trimester of pregnancy. The twenty two normal pregnant woman involved in this cohort study whom be followed up until the late stage of pregnancy. Blood pressure pattern was measured by Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring which measured blood pressure (systolic, diastolic, MAP, pulse) every 30 minutes for 12 hours from 18.00 pm – 06.00 am. Level of ET-1 and NO examined by ELISA every trimester. Systolic, diastolic, and MAP increased significantly during pregnancy especially in the late stage (p0.05) although tended to increased in 2nd trimester and decreased in 3th trimester. Level of ET-1, NO and ET-1/NO ratio did not change significantly (p>0.05).There were positive correlation between level of 3th trimester ET-1 and 3th trimester MAP (R=0.59; p
