The appearence of blood protein in java sparrow by electrophoresis technic

Abstract :
The aim of this study was to find out the appearence of blood protein in Java Sparrow and to use it for the basic information of blood protein level. We used 22 birds to collect the blood of Java Sparrow in certain region (Java and Bali island). We obtained 11 loci of protein which 7 loci were polimorf (Transferrin, Esterase D, Cellesterase I, Cellesterase II, Cholinesterase I, Cholinesterase II, Post-Albumin), and 4 loci were monomorf (Carbonic anhidrase I, Albumin, Pre-Albumin, Thyroxine Binding Pre-Albumin). The average value of heterozigosity (H) was 23,52% for Bali island and 18,54% for Java island. Proportion of polymorfism (P poly) in Java and Bali islands were 63,64% This study concluded that the population of Java sparrow is not in a critical point (P poly = 63,64%) and the average value of heterozygosity of birds in two islands (Java 18,54 % and Bali 23,52 %) are the reason to prevent the birds from their extinction.
