Abstract :
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan penambahan 1,5 % KCl, 0,5% NaHCO3 dankombinasi keduanya tidak terbukti dapat mencegah perubahan patologi hati pada ayampedaging yang mengalami stres panas kronis AbstractThe purpose of this study was to know the potencial of potassium chloride andsodium bicarbonate suplementation as thermotolerance agent on liver of chronic heatstressed broiler. 30 broiler with 3 weeks ages divide into 5 differents groups (n = 6) andseparated into two different chamber (A and B). One group (control/P0) was caged at lowtemperature (21-23ºC) chamber (A), while the others (P1; P2; P3; P4) were caged at hightemperature (37 ºC) chamber (B). Group P1 administrated only with water, groups P2, P3 andP4 administrated respectively with 1,5 % KCl, 0,5% NaHCO3, and the combination of both. After fifteen days of treatment all broiler were slaughter for liver macropathology andhistopatology examination. Collected data for liver weight was analysed with Anova test andthe data for histopathology changes was analysed with Kruskal-wallis test. This Study showed supplementation of 1,5 % KCl, 0,5% NaHCO3, and combination both of them failed to inhibit the changes of liver pathology on chronic heat-stressed broiler.
