Abstract :
Political transition in Indonesia is a crucial phase that determines political stability in the future. Indonesian political system will be more democratic if it has two conditions: (a) the political institu-tions work as political instrument for political accomodation of the people, and (b) political elite reduces their political conflicts, develops a strong concensus for the future of political reform.
