Abstract :
The objective of this research is to compare the difference of neutropeni with peripheral neuropathy incident, after administration of paclitaxel infuse 3 hours and 24 hours in adjuvant therapy with paclitaxel-carboplatin in patient with ovarial carcinoma. This research is using experimental research with samples that was randomized after consecutively recruited based on inclusive criteria. Before and every after chemoteraphy performed NCS and differential count laboratories’s test and then analyzed with T-test and Chi-square test. From three times administration of paclitaxel 3 hours-carboplatin group, the incident of neutropeni after first until third chemo was 20%, 30%, 30%, respectively; and the incident of peripheral neuropathy was 30%, 60%, 50%, respectively. From Paclitaxel 24 hours-carboplatin group the incident of neutropeni after first until third chemo was 40%, 50%, 40%, respectively; and the incident of peripheral neuropathy was 20%, 20%, 20%, respectively. The statistic result was p > 0,05. The conclusion of this research is no significant difference in neutropeni and peripheral neuropathy incident on two study group.
