Anti hy preparation as raw material for frozen semen and frozen female embryos

Abstract :
This study was aimed to :1) produce anti HY protein/HY antisera by means of synthesising from the spleen of male rabbit before weaning age,2) define if this HY antibody could be generated by the immunization of adult male rabbit and 3) to examine biologically to define the sex ratio shift on the pups born. Experimental animal used were male rabbit at preweaning age and adult male rabbits subyected to immunization using spleen suspension. Serum was purified using SAS method,followed by dialysis and the level of anti HY antibody was measured using Biuret method. Result of this research showed that from approximately 15 ml serum from week-7 bleeding after the addition of SAS in a ratio of 1:1 which were then homogenized using vortex, finally resulted approximately 4 ml precipitate (semi-solid fom) ,then from BSA standard curve and the absorbance value, it was shown that the level of anti HY antibody was 21825 μg/ml.
