Optical density value of antibody against pregnancy-associated glycoproteins (pags) from the pregnant dairy cow blood serum in male local rabbit (oryctolagus cuniculus)

Abstract :

The aim of this study was to examine if PAGs could induce anti-PAGs antibody based on theoptical density (OD) value measured with Indirect ELISA. Five male rabbits were subcutaneously immunized with 100 µg PAGs in CFA at week-0 and boostered 100 µg PAGs in IFA at week-3 and week-8. Blood samples were collected from Auricular vein subjected to anti-PAGs analyze by means of indirect ELISA. Result obtained were analyzed as descriptive data. This study showed that immunization utilized PAGs isolate could induce anti-PAGs antibody. The highest OD value was obtained at week-11 after immunization with OD value 1.044.
