Abstract :

This research was aimed to find the different quality test of the frozen semen etawa goat breed’s in three extender among egg yolk skim (P1), egg yolk tris (P2), and Andromed(P3) withwater incubator examination. This research used frozen semen samples, it was stored in liquid nitrogen (N2) at -196°C. Straw were thawed into water bath at 37°C for 30 seconds. Then it was examined to determine sperm quality including sperm motility precentage and sperm velocity movement individual after water incubator inspection at four hour. The data collected were analyzed by Anova (Analysis of variance), followed by tukey test. The result showed that there was significant difference between treatment (P<0,05). The conclusion was that the highest sperm motility precentage was obtained Andromed® extender.
