Abstract :

The aim of this study was to produce eCG from the local pregnant mares sera. This study identified eCG by conformation of the glycoprotein characteristic. The pregnant mares sera were collected from 10 horses. The protein filtrated by using sephadex G-100. The result of product eCG it can be frozen dry eCG. The Continued of this study was to evaluate biopotency of eCG from local Indonesian horse and eCG from paten product (PG 600 Intervet Holland) to onset of estrus time, and pregnancy rate of Madura cattle in Sembilangan Village Bangkalan district East Java. This study used 24 female Madura cattle divided by 4 treatment group. All of the cattles were being syncronized of their estrus cycle. After that control group (K) was injected by 600 IU PG 600 Intervet holland, P1, P2 and P3 were injected by eCG local horse product with dosage 600 IU, 300 IU and 150 IU respectively. After the injection of eCG the onset of estrus time were being evaluate. And than using two dimention USG follicle number were examined. The result of this study showed that there were no significance different of onset estrus time between control, P1, P2 and P3 group.
