Abstract :

Recovery phase is  a period whom experienced by a junky  who decided to stop using drugs. In  this period, junkies generally experience emotional instability which was called the emotion dynamics. Therefore,  the  aim  of  this  study  was  to  explore  the  emotion  dynamics  of  some  junkies  while  they  were in recovery period. From interview with two junkies attending Subutex therapy showed that junkies would experienced emotional changes throughout the recovery period. The subject of this research was purposive with some criteria. The data collection is interview with general guidance. The result comes up from  the analysis based on “Plutchik evolutionary theory” .  Based on Plutchik evolutionary theory ,  the  emotion dynamics that  happened could be seen as the  spinning or feedback process as a result  of a previous event  and could also be a stimulus  to start a subsequent  event.  We could not compare the emotion dynamics which happened to both subjects, because it  depends on the events happened  in  the  subject.
