Overconfidence in clinical judgment prevents the accuracy of judgment

Abstract :
The article presents idea to explain errors in data collection and integration that may contaminate and contribute to the decision of clinical judgment. The sources of errors were studied through two stages of assessment, those are (1) data collection such as method of measurement, the interaction between clinicians-clients, and the behavior of clients, and (2) the internal process of clinicians as part of interpretation stage. Several recommendations were suggested to minimize errors in judgment.
