Abstract :
This study aims to determine the meaning of postnatal life physically disabled after an accident.The research was conducted on three subjects who become physically disabled due to accident upto postnatal amputated and lost one of his limbsroles. The information disclosed by the subjectusing the method of in-depth interviews as the primary data collection techniques. Data analysistechniques used in this study was a thematic analysis by coding of the transcripts that have beenin the verbatim interviews, field notes and some documentation. This study uses the theory of themeaning of life of Victor Frankl. The meaning of life is considered something of value and beobjective in humans. The results showed that three subjects found the meaning of life as the samein the face of the mishaps that befall them. Three subjects considered the events that happenedwas purely an accident that is a work accident for first and second subject, and traffic accidentfor the third subject. The accidents is considered as a disaster beyond human control of a giventrial and learning from Allah SWT. It gave impactonthe subject, they are, able to accept thesituation with resignation and accept what they get. Subjects are more patient in the act andestablished a more harmonious relationship with the community and family.
