Abstract :
This article studies how symbols of woman sexuality are exploited for commercial advertisements. Commercial advertisements in Indonesian Playboy Magazine exploit sensation of woman sexuality with sexuality symbols of advertisement models. The symbols include both verbal and nonverbal symbols. Contextually, the woman sexual elements in those advertisements seem only for getting the first impression of the viewers, instead of using the elements as persuasive influence in advertisement communication.
