Abstract :

This article intends to reexamine the concept of Indonesia Inc by taking into account democratization process with the spirit of regional autonomy and the possible utilization of information technology (IT) in order to upholding economic life. It focuses on the issue of empowering small size business as part of an effort to eradicate poverty leading to increasing economy in the village area. It suggests that all this requires institutional systemic building supported by the use of IT, which in the end can be a basis for the establishment of trading houses, a network that could help increasing efficiency for production and marketing for the small size business.
