Abstract :
Before and during 1999's general election, election area for Regency, Provincial, and Central People's Representative Council (DPRD & DPR RI) is based on regency and province, respectively. Whereas, in the 2004 general election, ther are changes in the election areas. Therefore, General Election Comission (KPU) as well as regional KPU need to understand the implication of this thoroughly. This article aims to be the reference for KPU/KPUD in determining election area and number of representatives so that it cannot be intervened by outsiders.
