Abstract :

Psychotic disorder is still reviewed as a disorder that difficult to be treated until now. Various efforts have been made to recognize the importance of early intervention on its patophysiology. One of them is the effort to reduce duration of untreated psychosis (DUP). DUP  is an interval duration between the onset of first episode psychotic and early initiation of treatment. DUP is associated with the worse outcome on patient in the future. On DUP, Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (BDNF) serum level is known in low level and become the reason of the low outcome. A guidelines intervention for Psychotic efforts have been made by IEPA dan give a big influence in the progress of intervention in the first episode psychotic, especially on the reduction of DUP.
