Abstract :
This research was conducted to isolation and identify bacterium of cellulolytic of rumen liquid beef cattle by using media of Carboxil Methile Cellulose (CMC). Intake of sample done by three times with accomodating dilution of rumen beef cattle, packed into the bottle. After that was done by thinning 10, then taken by 1 ml was inoculated to containing of petridish with CMC using pour plate method for three days incubation. Identification to be conducted by macroskopic and microscopic which continued with biochemical test with consist of Triple Sugar Iron (TSIA),Sulfide Indol Motility (SIM), Manitol, Citrat, Urea and Glucose Test (Lactose, Dextrose, Sucrose, Saccarosa andmaltose). The result of research obtained by seven bacterium species consist of: Nitrosomonas europae, Bacillussphaericus, Cellulomonas cellulans, Cytophaga hutchinsoi, Acidothermus cellulyticus, Lactobacillus acidophilus, dan Cellvibrio mixtus. All of this cellulolytic bacterium had potential to be used fermented waste agriculture for feed of ruminants.
