Abstract :

This research aimed to know the changed damage of liver Clarias gariepinus wereinfected by Edwardsiella tarda. Twenty four of Clarias gariepinus with average weightof 20-25 gram, size 10-12 cm were randomly devided into four groups of treatment (P0,P1, P2, and P3). Six repetition each those are given with the dosage of Edwardsiellatarda3x106 CFU/ml except P0 (control). At the macroscopic observed, show that liverbecome swollen and pale. The histopathological features of hepar were examined underlight microscope in 400 times magnification. Scoring method were using Bernet ScoringMethod to examined the presence of degeneration, necrotic, congestion and infiltrationof leucosyt. Then, Kruskal-Wallis test followed with Mann-Whitney test of statisticalanalysis. The result showed change in liver of Clarias gariepinus. The most severedamage was occurred on P2. It cause in histopathology examination showed lesionsuch necrotic area with infiltration of inflamatory cells and there was an increased oferythrocyte infiltration in blood vessels compared with P1 and P3.
