Abstract :

By the movement of adminnistration public paradigm from the old bureucracy to new public management and then to governance with the requirement to change the spirit of public administration. However, one of the governance spirit is a market. In the future, the local governance with the market principle, should pay attention to the delivery services system, such as: able to design the services through the market research that is research and analyze the market segment by understanding the competition, able to design the services by appraising the efectivity by using the promotion technic appropriate with the needs, able to arrange the standard quality of services, able to rate the public satisfaction index. Furthermore, local governance is able to design the organization based on the strategic plan including the external and internal environtment. The local government should be understand about the marketing, marketing strategy and marketing analysis, so that he could competite with the private organization in order to increase the performance of local governance in giving the excellent services to public. Finally, the succesful of the local governance marketing depends on the capasity of the manager who is educated and skilfull, so that the manager could act professionaly in public services.
