Abstract :

  Information needs in education is a mandatory requirement that is used every day. Information needs will be a problem when these needs can not be defined properly so it can not befulfilled. In everyday life the way it is and faced Students are facing daily information needs in thelearning process. Coursework is the duty of every student in the world of academic lectures.Therefore, information seeking behavior in working closely with the results obtained by eachstudent. That certainly affects its value or achievement.  From these results it can be seen from the respondents surveyed at Airlangga UniversityPsychology Students perform information seeking behavior based on the behavior patterns ofinformation discovery Ellis. The results of this study found that students of Psychology AirlanggaUniversity have identified information needs and resources which they use as a pattern discoveryprocess information in order doing the coursework they have. It can be a benchmark and referenceof how the pattern of discovery is done and the information described in tabel existing list.
