Abstract :

The purpose of this study was to identify the differences in the number of occurrences of ovarian hypofunction, corpus luteum persistent and repeat breeder of beef cattle in highland and lowland region at Nganjuk regency. This research was conducted in Nganjuk from 15 September to 11 October 2014. The method used is descriptive analysis using secondary data obtained from reports of reproductive disorders examination from the Department of Animal Husbandry and Fisheries Nganjuk and primary data obtained from the questionnaire study. The data were obtained then calculated and analyzed with Pearson Chi Square test using SPSS 21 for Windows and presented descriptively. The results of the analysis of the data shows that there are differences in the number of occurrences of ovarian hypofunction, corpus luteum persistent and repeat breeder in beef cattle highland and lowland (p <0.05). Total incidence of reproductive disorders are more prevalent in lowland areas.
