Program lingkungan dalam global games: fifa green goal programme di piala dunia 2010 afrika selatan

FIFA is an only international sports organization who have the authority to make decisions about football. FIFA regulations to regulate football based on the legal system, regulation and FIFA statute. But, FIFA also has a number of regulations in other sectors through programs, to the member states and the host country competition. Among them, a FIFA program in the health sector, humanitarian, social and environmental. In this research, the writer focus on the consideration of FIFA in taking decisions to add regulation in the environmental sector, named FIFA Green Goal Programme at the 2006 World Cup, to be applied back in the 2010 World Cup. By using the theory of transnational NGO behavior and the theory of strategic environmental assessment, this study intends to seek an explanation from FIFA considerations in adding regulation in the environmental sector through the application of the Green Goal programme back in World Cup 2010 South Africa.
