Publication Ethics

Airlangga International Journal of Islamic Economics and Finance (AIJIEF) is an international journal published twice a year, in January and July. The following are the ethical rules of publication include:

1.  Editorial ethics

  • The journal editor is responsible for deciding which articles to publish. Editors can be guided by the editorial policy of the journal and limited by legal requirements, namely copyright infringement, and plagiarism.
  • The journal editor is committed to providing timely reviews to the author. If the reviewer does not submit his report in a timely manner, the paper is immediately sent to another qualified reviewer.
  • The script content is kept secret.
  • An editor at the time of evaluation should be based on intellectual content, regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, citizenship or political philosophy of the authors.
  • Unpublished material disclosed in the submitted manuscript shall not be used in editorial research without the written consent of the author.

2. Reviewer

  • Script content is treated with confidentiality. Reviewers can not discuss the journal with others, including the authors. 
  • A reviewer is required to evaluate documents based on content. Review comments must respect the author.
