Abstract :

Abstract Writing aims is identify maternal behavior in feeding the toddler in KelurahanTanah Kalikedinding, Surabaya. Allegedly feeding on the economically affect feeding consumed by the toddler. The middle class upwards when feeding toddlers aged 6 months, and the food is also in accordance with the needs of toddlers, while the economically lower middle class is not appropriate to the age of toddlers and food consumed is not tailored nutritional needs of toddlers. The study also describes the response of people who have a toddler feeding and health care. The research method is qualitative. Collecting data using interviews and observation. Based on this research, there are still people who give extra food too early which does not meet the nutritional needs of infants. Supplementary feeding too early also based on a low level of economic factors and a lack of education so that people do not know the dangers of giving food too early. Therefore the need for health workers to conduct outreach about the good and nutritious food that can be consumed by the toddler.
