Abstract :

The purpose of this  study  was to determine whether  there  was difference in  post-partum  depression in  mothers' primiparous viewed from  pregnant  women age. Based on the  result  of the  calculation of t-test  analysis examining the  differences  in  depression after  childbirth  of the  two  age groups  (middle adolescence and early middle adulthood) was obtained results p = -1.132 (p > 0.05). This indicates that  there  was  no  difference  in  post-partum  depression  in  mothers'  primiparous  viewed  from pregnant  women age (both  in  the  middle adolescence  and the  early  middle adulthood). The  result  of this  study  does  not  support  the  hypothesis  that  proposed  by  researcher .
