Abstract :
This paper try to explain how far is the idea of cosmopolitanism that influence programmes from UNHATE Foundation which is a foundation created by Benetton Group, a garment corporation from Italy, as one of the type of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). UNHATE Foundation, unlike the other CSR that focus on popular topics such as protect the environment, reduce the pollution, education, and other popular isssue, is a unique CSR because of the topic that they adopt which is focus on social issues that is close to the ideas of cosmopolitanism especially about human rights, respect the differences and universal community. This case will be explained by the corellation of the strategic CSR by Michael Porter and the ideas of cosmopolitanism by Martha C. Nussbaum. The ideas of cosmopolitanism in the end influencing UNHATE Foundation especially with the idea of human rights, respect the differences and universal community which is can be seen by looking at all the programmes that implemented by UNHATE Foundation which emphasized in creating the culture of unhate, wants to contribute to international community, fight all forms of discrimination with ask all the citizen of the world to participate in UNHATE Foundation projects.
