Abstract :
Violence against women occurring in India has in fact not been significantly resolved by the Indian government even though India has ratified the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW) in 1993. In addition, the work gained by women In India can not be separated from the term 3D is a heavy work that requires power (dirty), dangerous work (dangerous), and jobs that make the image of women less demeaning (demeaning). Various cases of female violence that occurred in India ultimately illustrate that the government is not paying much attention to any policies made on women's issues particularly violence against women. Thus, it encourages the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN WOMEN) as one of the United Nations entities to influence the government's policy of violence against women through efforts such as empowerment and protection of women. In analyzing cases of violence against women in India, this can be seen using Intersectionality Theory and Theory of Change.
