Abstract :
China has transformed into one of the most important country in international relations. Their identity as Zhungguo is coming back. Their economy, militaryand sport’s strength now is on the world’s top ranks. However, the most rational way to be used by China’s govenrment to become the greatest powerin the world without caused any political or military tension is with using sport as their instrument. Some research shows that China had activelyengaging sport to reach their national interest since 1978. China purposefuly use the prestige of sport in order to seen by international society that they arethe greatest country in the world. It is interesting that when China’s power in economy and military has already been on world’s top rank, they choose sportinstead of economy and military as the instrument to develop their national image as the greatest power in the world. There is an indication that China istrying to undertake a peaceful rise strategy to make any condusive circumstances, so they can make sure that their economy and militarydevelopment is going to be the greatest in the world.
