The success of a global civil society in encouraging the cessation of business operations run by PepsiCo in Myanmar supported by the application of the strategy of transnational advocacy networks and corporate strategy campaign. The strategy of transnational advocacy networks provide the ability for global civil society to carry out political information, leverage politics and accountability politics. On the other hand, the corporate strategy of the campaign had been successful in influencing the reputation of the company PepsiCo through tactics regulatory, legislative, political, financial, commercial and public relations therefore PepsiCo decided to closed its business operations in Myanmar.
