Abstract :
This study investigates whether IT center success model (Magal, 1991) is truely and validly implementable in Indonesia or not. Despite this study tests all constructs in conformity with this model, it also rearranges to get more suitable model that could be applied to measure IT center success in Indonesia. Magal's models tested and the result concludes that it is medium goodness of fit and all factors have significant effect on the success of information technology implementation. Thus, the success of IT implementation depends on the improvement and development of IT service quality, end-user computing quality, and user self-sufficiency. Finally, teh newly arranged model has a better goodness of fit. However, the new model has more parsimonius relationship than Magal's model. It implies that the success of IT implementation are in single perspective derived from unity of all three constructs.
