Modifikasi struktur n-fenilurea menjadi senyawa baru n-benzoilfenilurea dan 4-fluorobenzoilfenilurea serta uji aktivitasnya sebagai penekan susunan saraf pusat

Abstract :

Modification of the structure of to the N-benzoylphenylurea and  4-fluorobenzoylphenilurea as the new compound has been done. The Schotten-Baumann method was used for the reaction between N-phenylurea and benzoyl Chloride and 4-fluorobenzoyl chloride. The CNS depressant activity test was done for the N-benzoylphenylura and 4-fluorobenzpylphenylurea compound by Barbituric Sleeping Time (BST) method. The yield of the N-benzoylphenylurea was 86% and the 4-fluorobenzoylphenylurea was 71% , had a white crystal and gave one spot in Thin Layer Chromatography with two different eluent. The compounds melting point was different from the N-phenylurea and showed greater. The structure identification from the new compounds was analysed by IR, 1HNMR and MS, the result showed that the new compounds was N-benzoylphenylurea and 4-fluorobenzoylphenylurea. The CNS depressant activity test from N-benzoylphenylurea and 4-fluorobenzoylphenylurea had  a greater activity if compare with the standard compound bromisoval.
