Abstract :
Human trafficking in Thailand grew as a problem malignancy after an increase in casualties almost every year. This problem is more complex because human trafficking related to child prostitution and women. The issue of human trafficking in Thailand has led to a decline due to a bad perception of the image of the country. The growing negative perception of Thailand, concerning issues of human trafficking and then encourage the various stakeholders to proactively pursued policies and initiatives in support of the settlement of the issue. In addressing the issue of human trafficking, Thailand pursued policies, including receiving a recommendation from UNIAP. In fact, the Thai authorities have failed to implement the recommendations of the UNIAP. It is then that becomes the focus of this study, where the answer research questions the researchers used several approaches, constructivist theory and policy effectiveness. In its application, recommendation UNIAP realized through the adjustment of legislation, to facilitate cooperation with regional and international organizations. In fact, the efforts of the Thai government have failed because of public response and other stakeholders are relatively weak, as well as programs that are less effective. An overview of the government's failure to accept the recommendation UNIAP Thailand will be described in detail in this study.
