Abstract :

The US dollar as the international currency was brought up by Bretton Woods System  after  the  Second  World  War.  The  maneuver  had  brought  US  as  a superpower  in  international  economy.  But  in  the  middle  of  its  process,  in August  15th  1971,  US  President,  Richard  Nixon,  decided  to  put  an  end  to  the Bretton  Woods  System.  A  new  system  was  introduced  when  oil  became  the new gold in international monetary system. This petro-dollar system was the main  instrument  for  sustaining  the  hegemony  of  US.  But  at  this  rate,  the system won’t last forever because the system opposes the moral law, primarily at the principles of honesty, justice, and freedom.
